Contra-Tiempo Masterclass

Tuesday, February 4, 2025|6:45 – 8 PM at Casco Bay Movers

Los Angeles-based Activist Dance Theater company, CONTRA-TIEMPO will get you moving and grooving with their “Sabor Session” (from the Spanish word for “flavor”) where dancers will guide participants in Afro-Latin social dance forms that are rooted in radical joy and exercises that promote community engagement. Additionally, CONTRA-TIEMPO will share an excerpt of their work.

Appropriate for all ages. No prior dance knowledge is necessary. Click here to reserve your spot in class.   The class fee is by donation to one of the organizations listed below, which Contra-Tiempo picked to assist in recovery efforts in their home city of Los Angeles.  This event is co-sponsored by Portland Ovations.
